This Creepy Thriller
Derrickson's locked-room horror stands strong even without a continuation. Located in the late 70s in Denver, a series of kidnappings has made the children frightened. This Dramatic Portrait
In the battle between faith and wealth, it's a knockout win for greed in Michael Showalter's delightfully tacky true story of the disgraced televangelist and her criminal husband. Garfield portrays the greedy Jim, who states at the beginning, “God does not want us to be poor,”. Both individuals set about profiting from the people's Christian beliefs. It's a riot of poor styling, excessive cosmetics and hypocrisy, though Jessica Chastain achieves to depict the real-life figure with compassion. Next Tuesday, 1.15am, Film4
